Cole Wimpee produces, directs, and acts for the stage.He also associate produces new media/new technology art installations and small-scale performances. His producing credits include Binge Olympiad (Wings Theater,NY), New York is Dead (Ohio Theatre, Soho), Sodomy & Pedicures (NY International Fringe), fuckplays (Ohio / Galapagos Art Space Evolve Artist), and the 1st and 2nd Annual NYC Binge Festivals (Jimmy's No. 43). He directed Bring Me The Head of John Ford (the Brick), Sharpen My Dick (Galapagos), The Woodpecker (2007 O'Neill Playwrighting Finalist), and Cholera (CSV LES). His acting credits include IXOMIA (Crown Point Festival), Penetrator (at American Place Theatre), Kansas City Book of the Dead (Ohio Theatre), and pieces in Austin, Houston, and Washington D.C. An executive member of Working Man's Clothes Productions, Cole has interned with Soho Think Tank and Physical Plant Theatre (Not Clown, Soho Rep) and is from Dallas, Tx.

Marilyn Mithra Stone BIO (www.newyorkisdead.net)

Marilyn Mithra Stone is a transplant from the UK and the Executive Director of the Aztec Economy - an emerging, Brooklyn-based new media/performance art/tech group. She has worked as a director, assistant director, and managing director for various underground and breakthrough performances in London including Grafting and Budding with Sheila Ghelani at BAC, The Three Billy Goats Gruff(Garlic Theater), The Hot Zone (Conspirator's Kitchen) and Fight Face (with Sophie Woolley) at Lyric Hammersmith. She was an associate for programming for Barbican's BITE'07 theater selections and assistant directed Fecund at the Chelsea Theater. As a director she has several shows that have premiered at Camden People's Theater including Urashima Taro, Late Night's Shifting Sand, Trace [Fish] 46, and most recently, Literature Do at Camden Fringe. After attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art as an ensemble actress, she switched roads and studied directing at LAMDA. She did a year long internship for management at the Royal Court Theater and has made a career both in theater administration and music, recently recording her first album, MithraTHOPE, to be released in summer 2010 in the UK. She is excited to be in NYC now with her fiancé and with the Aztec Economy.

Casey Wimpee is a short fiction writer , playwright, freelance arts critic for Hex education journal, and new media writer living with his wife in Brooklyn, Ny. His short plays included The Search Party (Texas State University showcase), Bloody Elephants (Working Man's Clothes), The Map is Not the Territory (Gene Frankel Theater, NY), What The Hell (Center Stage, NY), Hot Damn (the 2nd Annual NYC Binge Festival), More Songs from the Neofascists...(The Tank, NYC), Kansas City Book of the Dead (Ohio Theatre), Bring Me The Head of John Ford (The Brick, Brooklyn), Take Out Chinese (Wings Theater,NY) and Arms & The Octopus (Ohio / Galapagos, NY) for which he was nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre award. His short play, The Queen is Dead was made into a short film by Everybody Row Films and was selected as Samuel French nomination for it's publication competition in 2008.

Kalli Newman


Kalli Newman is a director, cinematographer, and film editor from Reyjavik, Iceland. 


He enjoys collaborative projects which mix a hybrid of multi-media, new form mediia, performance (live), technology, and music. He has recently directed and adapted the two shorts -The Queen of Astoria and The Queen is Dead - the first of which was controversial enough to be banned from multiple video-sharing sites such as youtube and myspace. His screenplay, The Fart Collector was recently adapted and staged by Working Man's Clothes in New York City and he received excellent NY reviews for his visual work on Bring Me The Head of John Ford in Brooklyn's Film Festival:Theater Festival. He has experience in theatre, film and is known mostly for his music video work in Iceland and co-founded Everybody Row Films. Vid drullum i buxurnar af gledi.

I have journalistic experience and I write film and music reviews for a weekly newspaper in Iceland called Fokus.
